Carlisle Torch Evaluation / Repair Procedure




  • Carlisle personnel Do Not evaluate or quote torch repairs for customers over the phone or by viewing pictures.
  • Prior to shipping any torch to Carlisle Machine Works, please contact us at 1-800-922-1167. We just might have a quick fix for you.
  • Please use the following mailing address:

  • Package your torch securely to prevent damage during transit (insurance is recommended). You may remove the base to save money on shipping.

  • Include your name, return address, phone number, and email address. A brief explanation why you are returning the torch will be helpful.

  • All torches must be evaluated prior to repair. You will be contacted for your credit card information upon receipt of the torch for an evaluation fee of $80.00. A quote for the recommended parts to be replaced will be emailed to you. The evaluation fee will be deducted from the repair cost. You are not required to replace all of the items on the quote, however, we will notify you if the torch is unsafe for use.

  • If you choose not to have the torch repaired we will ship it back to you at your expense.

  • Your torch will be refurbished and returned to like-new condition. All work is under warranty for a period of one year.

  • When all work has been completed and the torch has been tested, Carlisle will contact you prior to charging your credit card, at which time shipping will be included.

  • If you do not respond within a period of 90 days, the torch will be forfeited to Carlisle as abandoned merchandise.
